A CLASSROOM WITH A DOOR TO THE WORLD

Ten-day course in Guadeloupe, France

In a rapidly globalising world, inclusion and cultural identity are not opposing forces—they are interconnected. Globalisation can deepen our understanding of ourselves while opening pathways to appreciate others. But how can schools embrace this complexity?

During this course, we’ll explore key questions:

Learning will take place in unique outdoor classrooms across the island, where nature, culture, and community meet. Guided by local cultural activists, participants will gain first-hand insight into the interconnectedness of the global and local.

The course is enriched by eTwinning project “Classroom with a Door to the World”, which serves for monitoring own learning, visibility and dissemination.
